Heidi Dietz Faletti is an associate professor in the English Department. Her main teaching areas are nineteenth and twentieth-century European literature and film history, genres, and adaptations.
Her scholarly activity covers the following areas: a book on Stefan George’s early poetry of the 1890s plus articles on German emigrant literature, Nazi cinema, films of the German New Wave, and nineteenth-century European narrative and drama in Revue de Littérature Comparée, Euphorion, and Germanisch-Romanische Monatsschrift.
She holds a Ph.D. degree in Comparative Literature (German, French, and Russian literatures) from the University of California at Berkeley.
