Prospective undergraduate students interested in entering the Television and Film Arts program at Buffalo State must apply through the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
Once you select Buffalo State via the SUNY website, simply choose "Television and Film Arts" in the curriculum menu. If you are admitted to Buffalo State, you will receive a letter from Undergraduate Admissions requesting that you complete the application for admission to the TFA program.
We are now accepting applications for 2015. Admission to the Television and Film Arts program is very competitive and limited to 15 students each year.
Applying to the program is simple:
Download and complete the “Personal Statement” form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Download the “Creative Sample” form and submit either a script / short story or a short film. Scripts / short stories must be a .doc, .docx, or .pdf. Short films must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo (email us the link and password, if applicable). Please email creative samples to email@example.com.
Download and forward the “Recommendation to the TFA Major” form to your recommender. He / she should complete the recommendation form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your personal statement, creative sample, and letter of recommendation must be received no later than Monday, February 9, 2015.
